Penny Carnival Preparations

Our church on March 12, 2010, which is this Friday, is having their first official Penny Carnival for Children! This Wednesday's Ignite (Youth Group) was preparing for it with their hearts full of creativity. Everyone was in a good mood and it was very fun to see all the different events that are going to take place on Friday. My friend Madison and I are going to help volunteer because it's fun and there's nothing better to do on a Friday night than to have fun, especially with children!
Everyone got assigned a phrase to make a poster out of because that is what the event is called. We didn't have enough room for a Cotton-Candy Machine but, we did have room for many others including a popcorn machine! I did not do well in this decorating area because for one I had my Art option again today and my arms were so sore I decided not to do a poster but, it was a lot of fun to see what others were doing with their signs.
Madison is good in this area so I think she enjoyed it a lot. I did help her but I messed up a lot. I love painting and Art work but my arms were so sore today I kept being all wobbily.

This is the finished product of one group's project and I think they did it very very well. I love to see it hanging up at the carnival on Friday. It will definitley draw children's attention with all the colors in it!

I loved this one because it is full of color and very creative. It was made by my Ignite leader Jenn's daughter Alex, who is only 8 years old. Alex has definitley got a lot of mad skill for and 8 year old!

Another Eye-Cathing Poster!

The Prize Palace with actually good prizes!

Isn't this Lion cute?

The senior high girls working on the whale!
I am really looking forward to this carnival!
