Spring Break: Part 1

My mother and I went to my Oma's house for the weekend. She went back on Sunday and I came back yesterday. Let's just say it was most absolutley perfect way to get over all that school drama and stress and to just relax with no fears!

My Oma has designer Sundae Maker so we all made our own custom Sundae's which were absolutley the best in the world as I have said ever since I was 5 years old.

Ginger, loves to sleep and is so gentle, unlike my puppy Bailey.

I read a lot over there, Oma let me borrow her book "My sister's Keeper" which is absolutley finominal!

Not the best weather for spring break, but it got a lot worse!

Gloomy, Gloomy, Gloomy!

Ah, yes the Dutch House Rules. Yes I am Dutch.

The wheather got ten times better over the days!

We met my mom at the Tim Hortons in Red Deer, and when we were there my mom saw her Grade 8 teacher. Let me tell you, he looks a lot different then he did before!

That was only part 1 to the spring break. We are going to Victoria. BC tommorrow for the Easter weekend!

All in all I had a pretty good time!

American Idol

Yes people now know that I love watching American Idol even though I am Canadian. It is funny but the Canadian Idol really was terrible and very soon ended. It's sort of a tradition for my family to gather infront of our TV and watch "AI" as we call it on Tuesday and Wednesday and maybe Thursday nights. We all have our favorites but this we year we pretty much know who's going and who's got a really big chance to win this thing.

My favorites are Siobahn Magnus and Crystal Bowersox and I did like Katelyn Epperly and Lily Scott but they got voted off which I still think that's rigged. I am not too impressed with the guys this year because I think they can do better but I like Lee DeWyze (if I spelled that right) and Michael Lynche. But this year I think the girls are going to have a winner!

I think Tim Urban will get voted off but the girls still think he looks good so I don't know and I used to really like Andrew Garcia in Hollywood Week with the all famous "Straight Up" which wowed everyone but now he's just gotten bad haha.

My favorite performance was Crystal Bowersox. Here is just a sample of what I like about her and hopefully if you're american and watch this show you've voted for her.

Happy Spring Break!

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

This is not my normal type of post, I usually post on Monday about what I did on the weekend but this weekend I had Friday off too so I decided to do my very first Saturday blog ever on Criss Crossed Memories ever.

I had no school on Friday so on Thursday night my family and the Lum's family went out to Cross Iron Mills Shopping Mall, I was really excited to go and I needed to go for a math project that is due on Monday as I have mentioned in my other post.
We went to the Starbucks right before closing time and we got a huge back full of all the freebies and left overs. Too bad there wasn't any left over Strawberry Creme's left but there was a HUGE bag full that we got. Let me tell ya, it was just enough to feed my whole class!

Yummy, and delicious Pinini`s!

We ran just short of time to visit the Bass Pro Shops! Too bad cause that place is amazing!

My dream guitars! Let`s stick to accoustic for now! LOL!

Yes I have gotten back into writing again. I got soo into it that I forgot the time to go to the Youth Hangout night last night. It was an amazing time with my good friends, Kate, Mhairi, Max, Colm, Jacob, Megan, Emma, Kayla, Madison, and me ofcourse. I will put the pictures up of that at a later date and maybe even the movie!

Doesn`t this weather look great! I am starting to get the feeling that spring is coming soon and I even started going on my Trampoline today.

Crystal, Clear, and Beautiful!

Bailey got his haircut today and he was not too happy with all the side effects like itching and his eyes watering. I don`t blame him!

Poor guy! But you do look gorgeous Bailey!

Thanks for reading this post and I am starting to think I might do this kind of posting more often. I got my camera back so the pictures are nice again and the weather is getting great. There`s only one more week of school before spring break and I am so excited. No more stressing for a little while. Happy Spring everyone!
Sorry for this big gap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stressing, Cramming, Reading

Don't you hate it how one minute you have all this free time and then this other minute and your all crammed and stressed and have had many spleepless nights? I am having the crammed and stressed and especially sleepless because of daylight savings. But there is hope because Spring Break is only less than 7 school days away. I am waiting for the day when that happens. I am cmpletely crammed up and stressed out and apperentley I am sleepwalking! I only do that when I'm really stressed.

Right now my schedule is full of assignments and there's a teste tommorrow on Math and now there's two projects due on Monday the 22 and then there's and invention due after spring break and yeah it's all crammed up. It's daylight savings and I am tired and I don't want to have all this I mean I have to get up at 5 a.m. to start with!

Aside from all this cramming and stress my favorite show American Idol is on tonight and if I finish studying for my Math test in time I will be able to watch it. Since I have been not being with Natasha and Elise I have more time at lunch and I am reading a new book called So B. It. It's been really good so far and I recommend it even though I haven't finished though. Also between all the cramming my mom has gotten me tons of books on my hobbies which are reading, writing, scrapbooking, and crad-making hopefully I can get my creations and designs up soon.
For all of you guys in my class who might be reading this or anyone who can relate I just want to wish you the best on all the exams and projects that are due and Happy Cramming even though cramming is terrible. I hope you have a good week and be sure to cheack out So B. It at your library! Happy Studying!

Penny Carnival 2010

As I said on Wednesday's blog that there was going to be a penny carnival at my church today, well it was cheap, fun, fresh, and new. It was an absolute blast for the kids and for the helpers like Madison and I. Most of the youth group kids that showed up were helpers. It was just the perfect way to spend a Friday night.
The kids would pay you a penny for each try they took at your booth and you would give them a ticket which they would use for the Prize Palace to get a prize. Many kids were eager to see what was at the Prize Palace. All of the money went to the church offering to help make the church a better place or donate to a needy cause. All in all it was a win-win situation!
Our church had really done some advertising and was great because now their are some families interested in coming to our church. I am very happy to see this.
Madison and I (by fluke) ran the booth that she (and I a little) had done the poster too. It was All-Aborad Noah's Ark. It's where you have to toss stuffed-animals into holes.
Jump For Joy (Bouncy House) was a very popular one!

The beloved Prize Palace!

A very happy cutsomer!

Grief Girl!

Most of you know that I am obsessed with reading and that I am always on the lookout for good book, which at this level, there isn't verty many so far. I came across Grief Girl in the fiction side of the library which is one that I don't really like looking through because it's always about some sports player and how they needed training and that boring type of story. But this one really stood out.
Greif Girl caught my eye because the back of the book had an amazing description and it made the reader want more of it. I was happy about this because in English class we are just learning how to do that. I think my teacher would be impressed if I wrote a story like that, but way shorter because we are doing the short story unit.

I hope you all of a wonderful day and I hope you are not in greif! The wheather is getting warmer so I hope you are outside more!

Penny Carnival Preparations

Our church on March 12, 2010, which is this Friday, is having their first official Penny Carnival for Children! This Wednesday's Ignite (Youth Group) was preparing for it with their hearts full of creativity. Everyone was in a good mood and it was very fun to see all the different events that are going to take place on Friday. My friend Madison and I are going to help volunteer because it's fun and there's nothing better to do on a Friday night than to have fun, especially with children!
Everyone got assigned a phrase to make a poster out of because that is what the event is called. We didn't have enough room for a Cotton-Candy Machine but, we did have room for many others including a popcorn machine! I did not do well in this decorating area because for one I had my Art option again today and my arms were so sore I decided not to do a poster but, it was a lot of fun to see what others were doing with their signs.
Madison is good in this area so I think she enjoyed it a lot. I did help her but I messed up a lot. I love painting and Art work but my arms were so sore today I kept being all wobbily.

This is the finished product of one group's project and I think they did it very very well. I love to see it hanging up at the carnival on Friday. It will definitley draw children's attention with all the colors in it!

I loved this one because it is full of color and very creative. It was made by my Ignite leader Jenn's daughter Alex, who is only 8 years old. Alex has definitley got a lot of mad skill for and 8 year old!

Another Eye-Cathing Poster!

The Prize Palace with actually good prizes!

Isn't this Lion cute?

The senior high girls working on the whale!
I am really looking forward to this carnival!

My Baby Turned 2 Today!

Bailey Bob Leno Grigg was born on March 9, 2008 with 4 other puppies. Bailey was originally named Tyler but we thought that that name was more for a person than a dog. Bailey was a surprise to me. My parents had said that we would never ever get a dog and then all of a sudden they decided it would be good for me to have a little pal to play with, and they were right! Bailey is unique because he has gray all over him. We called him Leno because he is Jay Leno but in dog fourm. Bailey has always been my buddy and he is great to talk to when I get scared, which is pretty much everyday. He is small but strong because he has been through a lot together. When my brother Laim had those outbursts Bailey was a victum quite a few times. Bailey had to be locked away in bathrooms a lot. Bailey you are an amazing dog!
This is a picture of Bailey when he was 4 months old. I had just started 7th grade and he had helped me pick out the outfit I was going to wear. You moght think I`m one of those looney bin people that talk to dogs but, I just do it and I know he will listen!
Bailey you are an amazing little puppy. Happy 2nd Birthday my baby! You are an angel sent from heaven. You are also a great listener and you don`t argue! Love you.

Climbing and Drawing Mountains!

I know I haven't been posting much lately and kind of slacking off of my blog which is the thing I absolutley love to do. So I have decided that I will try and post pretty much everyday as much as I can. But theses blog entries may be pretty boring and depressing. Like today for instince.

Today was another one of those ugly mondays. I hate Monday the most out of the week because it's just so stressing and unfamiliar. But this Monday I had to climb over mountains and paint them too!

Gym was first today and we were outside, it was such a beautiful morning so we got to go outside. They are taking down the Gas Station across from our school because it had run out of gas. I think this is particularily exciting because it is pretty boring at our school and it is cool to watch them tear down the old gas station. Kalsey, who had been away in Florida, was very fasinated with what they were doing to the gas station. But while I was watching this my team in the game "Four Corner Capture the Flag" was losing by 16 points. No one really made a big deal though because we were too tired to move.

Art was next. I was very happy because Art is my favorite option that the school gives you to take. We are learning to paint with Acryliycs which I am so happy to have. We are drawing Mountains and wilderness on our Canvases and mine is turing out very well so far. Art is what makes me feel good on Mondays and Wednesdays because thats what wakes me up. Art gets even better because I have a great teacher too. This is where the drawing Mountains comes in. Which I am doing quite well for the most part.

I have been friends with Natasha and Elise for quite a while now. It was Natasha's 14 birthday last Tuesday and I was invited as well as Elise. Elise has gotten to be a really big pain as well as Natasha. They are not good friends and the Librarian whom I adore has told me repeatedly to break off the friendship and that I shoud not be treated like dirt. I wouldn't listen to her at first, but then she was right, I didn't want to be called names, made fun of, black mailed, and harassed anymore. Today at lunch I ended it and I am very proud of myself. It wasn't easy but I just got up and left. Now during free time I will hang out at the Library and do the things I want to do at free time and eat my lunch in peace. This was definitley a mountain that I had to climb!

I am happy that this all worked out and my mom is very proud of me for standing up for myself. She says I am getting stronger at what I am doing and she thinks what Natasha and Elise have done is terrible and I should do what I want at lunch time and locker break.

There is a test tommorrow that I have been preparing for and I think I will pass this. There is Dance tonight at Dance On Edge Accademy, we are almost done perfecting our Dance to "The Big Dollhouse" from Hairspray Limited Edition DVD. I hope life gets a little easier now that I am frree to be who I want to be. I am happy that my parents are proud of me. My mom is making my favorite dish of Spaghetti and Meatballs tonight. So far the ugly Monday was not so ugly after all!

New Cellphone!

I have always been with Virgin Mobile for all my phones since I was 8! I wanted an iPhone this year but they are very expensive so I have to settle with something a little smaller but not the least of it's worries. I had a Samsung basic from Virgin Mobile but over the year and a half I've had it it is has gotten com[;etely wrecked so I decided that it was time for a new one! So I am getting the Samsung slide. It's sleek and I absolutley love it. I am getting it in May so two more months and this phone will be mine!

Don't you just love it!
