This is my last post for 2009!

Yesterday I told you that that entry was the last one, but I managed to fit some time into my very busy schedule to post just one more. I am going to be very very busy the next couple of weeks. Today we are getting ready for Christmas and we are having our Christmas dinner tonight. Our family friends the Goertzen's are going away until Dec.28 so they are dropping there dog, Daisy off at our place. I am also very busy aswell, on Boxing Day I am going to my Oma's house until January 4. I live with my Oma part time. The next two days are going to be especially busy. Tommorrow is going to be the busiest ever. Christmas Day! I am very very excited about that. Yesterday I told you that I am not going to be posting until January 6, because I am getting an EEG done. If you have any idea what that is, don't feel bad because I didn't know either until a couple months ago. The doctors think I may have a small seizure or something so they are going to test my brain. I have to stay up until Midnight and then wake up at 4 a.m. The need to see my brain waves. It's very confusing but I get to miss my first day back to school because of it. Anyways, yesterday, I told you about no heat, well we had to call an elctrician over at midnight last night to replace a part of our funice, which costs $820! Anyway Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. God Bless 2010!

The Christmas Dress and No Heat

Since tomorrow is Christmas Eve, I bought a dress for this event from H&M, which is a store I've never really been to. There is going to be 3 services at my church tomorrow, it's the busiest time of year for my church. Ther is usually over 2,000 people that show up all together in all 3 and usually there is only 750. Our Church is growing very very fast, at the rate of a new baby every three weeks. Anyways, back to the topic, tomorrow is going to be the busiest day ever in my house. We are having our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve rather than on Christmas Eve because we thought that it would be too overwhelming on Christmas day. We have it all planned. Here are some pictures of my new dress I am going to wear tomorrow at one of the three Christmas Eve services we will be going to.
You can see that the dress is very short so, I have to wear tights
under them. I love the nice purple color.

Anyways, my dad was looking at the Thermostat today and found out that the heat isn't coming out and to make a long story short, we have no heat and it is a -21 day in Calgary. My dad had to phone our friend the Lee's who are Electricians to come over and to go to a 24 hour place to get it fixed so that we won't freeze to death tonight. I hope he comes quick so I can keep warm tonight. I don't want to be cold. I sound so greedy, but we need heat. So anyways, hope your houses are heated better than mine and keep warm. P.S. I will not be posting any more entrys tommorrow or the next day and well, until January 6, 2010 so I hope this was enough catching up. I am very busy over the holidays as I am staying with my Oma from Boxing Day all the way until January 4, and then on January 5 I am getting an EEG done. Which I will explain at a later date. So I hope you have had enough information. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010. I just realised... this will be my last entry for 2009. The Two Faces of GaGa

I was watching on YouTube yesterday with my friend Madison an interview with the pop-star Lady Gaga and seeing how she responds to stuff. I had heard terrible rumors about her and wanted to see if they were true, and sad to say, some of them are true. It is true that she is bisexual, she is open to it and even wrote a song about it called "Poker Face" on her last album. Some of what she says though is coming straight from the heart like her mom is always there for her and how she still misses her parents and brothers and sisters and things and how she used to be a "freak" in high school and wanted to create a space for all her fans to feel free, and how she loves watching the "Ellen DeGenres Show" with her mom. She is very normal about her family and she likes to involve them in which is what you can think "hey she can be a real inspiration to teenagers", but you think back to what she does at bars and stuff. Lady Gaga has an amazing voice and uses it very well in her new song "Speechless" which is about her dad having an open heart surgery. It can be ver inspirational and very calming to watch things like that. But then you think back to all the things that are true and all the people she sleeps with. It can really confuse you. I like to say she has two faces. One is the bad romance type with all the grugs and alchahol and sleeping with people and her singing is just in techno. The second face is the one that I love very much, the one where she talks about her family and sings with the most amazing voice and is very kind-hearted and an inspiration. Which one do you choose? Or do you choose both?

The Julie / Julia Project

Today I watched one of the best movies I've ever seen in years and it was called Julie and Julia! It was so interesting about how a famous chef like Julia and then in 2002 an average worker in New York who starts a blog about doing Julia's recipes in a year and how she had fights with her husband and everything it was just amazing. Julie Powell really inspires me how a blog can really take you far like to get published in the New York Times and to think that just a little while ago she was just like any regular person! I recommend this to you for a Christmas present for someone. Oh and speaking of Christmas there's only 3 more days!

04 days til Christmas :)

Okay all you bloggers. Today I woke up at about 8:30 in the morning and realised that there is only 4 more days left until Christmas and there's so much to do. I can't believe how much Christmas stuff I have to do. Anyways, today Madison my friend came over and we hung out all morning pretty much. Then she had to go home to do Christmas shopping too. I wonder how much people are at the mall today?

I have a miniature poodle named Bailey and he is pretty much my life. He is adorable. Well to me he is. He is black. Anyways, about me, I am a thirteen year old girl who is inlove with her laptop computer and the internet. I love YouTube and Facebook oh yeah, and ofcourse my blog. I am really starting to love blogging. It's sort of like writing a journal but people can see what your up to. I go to a French Immersion School and I am liking it for the most part. I'm off of school for now because of Christmas. Christmas, only 5 days away wow? Anyways I might get a little personal on here but I hope you don't mind. I like watching people kiss! It's just something I like watching and it's weird. But yeah anyways I hope you enjoy my blog and I hope you ignore the whole kissing thing. My head is still up in the clouds.
