'Tis the Season to be... ?

Can you guess what time of year it is? If you guessed exams and studying, you're right (no prize guaranteed)! For the past 5 months my life in school has been one huge cram of studying and preparing for the finals, which will be happening in less than one week time. It has been very difficult these last few months of my life and school just makes it harder!

My school, Georges P. Vanier ends on June 29th at 11:45 am. I am very pleased that it will be ending in the morning rather than a real day that ends at 2:35 pm. Alot of the days left at school are exam days which mean that you attend school that morning and write one exam and then leave after you have completed your exam. I really do like this schedule.

It's good to know that I am not the only one going through all this stress from school. Many of my blogger friends are going through this aswell. Well good luck to you on your exams and remember to get a good nights sleep before the exam, rather than cramming everything in the day before. Happy Studying !

The Weekend

This last weekend was pretty boring, to be honest. It consisted of studying for tests and exams and watching the wheather and how we thought it was terrible for the end of May. There was one really big event though. Our family friends, the McGuigan family's oldest daughter Mhairi had just graduated from high school. On Friday, I got to stay at their house for a sleepover and I got to go to their family graduation dinner. I felt so honored at this even.

My family and I are very proud for Mhairi (on the right), and Misha (on the left). My dad used to tutor Mhairi in math when she was in Grade 8.

As of yesterday, it has been exactly 5 years since my mother had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She has had some minor issues but she is way better than before. I have to be looked at more thanks to her! LOL

I am very crammed up again as it is at the end of the year. I have a Math Test tomorrow and Exams are coming up starting June 15th. The wheather is starting to seem more like June. School ends in less than a month!!! YEAH

May Long Weekend

As you have noticed I have not been blogging for over a month. I have been so busy with exams and tests etc. I have not been able to blog very much. But now I have some time and I am back with a long blog about my camping trip this past long weekend.
First I would like to start off that Madison now has braces and is not too happy with them as you can see in this picture. Madison always has to cut up her food and can't eat certain foods. I think it must be hard but I think straight teeth in the end is totally worth it!

Over the weekend we did a lot of biking... I hurt myself twice in the process. Oh well that's what you get when you ride your bike in flip flops.

We went camping with the Goertzen's and the Retzlaff's which put together equals the Geortzlaff's. Kyra and Anne usually were the ones who biked together.

A friendly neighbor took a picture of all three of us. I was in the middle ofcourse and Kyra and Anne were on my left and right.

The game "Snap" was the highlight of the evenings... each time it was too cold to go outside the kids would stay in their trailers and play some "Snap". Madison was a pro at this. Kyra and Madison did have some agression when they were playing "Snap".

These two are Megan and Kara. Megan is three and a half and Kara is two. Kyra was very prud because her and Kara had the same middle name, Jane. Sorry Kyra that I put your middle name up. Madison and Liezel are almost like sisters.... they fight and laugh together... Liezel loved the monkey bars... These two sisters love eachother but they just don't show it. This is young Liezel running. Liezel is very photogenic.
Madison on the slide... Here is a picture of the group of amazing young ladies! Here are three lovely ladies, from left to right, Anne, Madison, Liezel The DS gaming system was very good for the long trips back to Calgary. Over all, it was the best camping trip I have been on in a really long time! I hope to be posting soon as the wheather is getting better and better!

The Summer of '09

This is a summary of last summer. Let me tell you that 2009 was an amazing year and I had lots of fun. But there was a few hard times involved.
This is Marie-Andree which is a friend of mine. I went to her and her friend Aymee's house everyday. That's what was bad for this summer.

In early August we went to Invermere BC and I had a great time.

We also went to the Panorama Ski Lodges.

Inveremere had great mountains!

Yes, the window broke!

We used to be best friends.

Raelynn and IU

Yes I do wish I could re-do this summer but, 2010 Summer is coming soon.

Mary Lake

For the Easter weekend my dad and I went to Victoria BC from Thursday to Sunday. We had an amazing time. I took over 50 pictures which I will be putting up at a later date, but here's one of my favorite parts of Victoria Trip.
My Aunt and Uncle live in the Highlands in Victoria and their is a park right by their house that is up for sale for 4.1 million dollars! The community would like to buy it so that they can keep it a park rather than a city. The original owner was Mary so they named it Mary Lake. It's beautiful and I hope we win the Lotto 6.49 so that we can get it!
Sierra really liked it and wants to have a Summer Camp there if we buy it. Everyone who went with us thought it was a really good idea and Sierra is very intellegent for a 6 year old.

Logan loves reindeers and very badly wanted to have a picture beside his favorite one. Logan is such a cutie!

It is very mossy in the Highlands and anywhere in Victoria.

Here we are heading up the trails.

This is one of Mary's lakes.

They built cabins at Mary Lake which is perfect for a cap as Sierra requested.

Sierra and Logan loved to play on the beach.

Digging is their favorite.

Sierra would stay there forever if you didn't make her leave!

Up the trails again!

We had found some deer bones on the trails!

Did you notice how mossy it was?

Back up the trails!

The Beaver Dam!

I hope they get he 4.1 million. It was an amazing Easter Sunday! We will be returning to Victoria for two weeks on June 30!

Spring Break: Part 1

My mother and I went to my Oma's house for the weekend. She went back on Sunday and I came back yesterday. Let's just say it was most absolutley perfect way to get over all that school drama and stress and to just relax with no fears!

My Oma has designer Sundae Maker so we all made our own custom Sundae's which were absolutley the best in the world as I have said ever since I was 5 years old.

Ginger, loves to sleep and is so gentle, unlike my puppy Bailey.

I read a lot over there, Oma let me borrow her book "My sister's Keeper" which is absolutley finominal!

Not the best weather for spring break, but it got a lot worse!

Gloomy, Gloomy, Gloomy!

Ah, yes the Dutch House Rules. Yes I am Dutch.

The wheather got ten times better over the days!

We met my mom at the Tim Hortons in Red Deer, and when we were there my mom saw her Grade 8 teacher. Let me tell you, he looks a lot different then he did before!

That was only part 1 to the spring break. We are going to Victoria. BC tommorrow for the Easter weekend!

All in all I had a pretty good time!
